About Inter

This website is operated by Pacific Fund Pty Ltd, ABN 75 143 185 406, trading as Inter Imports. Our postal address is PO Box 27, Mill Park VIC 3082, Australia. Please use our contact form for questions about these terms. The PO box is for correspondence; contact us before sending any goods so we can arrange the appropriate return address.

Enquiries and the launch catalogue

Inter helps businesses and organisations discuss photography, video and creator equipment requirements. We are launching with enquiries and quote requests while our catalogue is prepared. Online checkout and payment collection are not enabled.

Sending a message, submitting a quote request or applying for an account does not place an order, reserve stock, guarantee supply or establish credit. A submission reference confirms receipt in our system. We review requirements before proposing products, availability, freight, tax, payment terms or delivery arrangements. A requested date is a preference until specifically agreed.

Quotes and any later supply

Any offer to supply will be set out in a separate written quote with the seller's identity, products, quantities, price, tax treatment, freight, validity period and applicable terms. Read that quote before accepting it. Acceptance through the quote's stated process creates the order described there; an initial enquiry or draft quote does not. Changes to an accepted order require agreement.

Unless separately agreed in writing, new customers purchase on prepayment. Providing a purchase-order number does not create credit terms or confirm payment. Payment and confirmed stock arrangements must be in place before fulfilment. We will not request card details through the contact form. Any later payment instructions will identify Inter's legal business and relate to an agreed quote or invoice.

Quote-specific terms govern the particular supply, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law. Delivery estimates, cancellation and any agreed change-of-mind return arrangements will be stated before you commit. Contact us promptly if something supplied is faulty, damaged or does not match the agreed order.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms or a quote excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where those guarantees apply, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund or other remedies depending on the circumstances. Buying for a business does not by itself remove applicable consumer rights. For further information, see the ACCC's consumer rights guidance.

Accounts and authority

You can enquire without an account. If you use an account, keep your sign-in details secure, provide accurate information and act only for organisations you are authorised to represent. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. An existing MM account can be used with Inter; a paid MM subscription is not required for an enquiry or ordinary Inter purchasing access. Reseller pricing and credit require separate approval and are not granted merely by registration.

Using the website

Use the site lawfully. Do not send spam, malicious material or information you have no right to disclose, impersonate another person, attempt to access another organisation's records, or interfere with the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the site, its users or legal obligations. Contact us if you believe access has been restricted in error.

We aim to keep information accurate and the site available, but product information and availability may change. We will resolve material details in the written quote before you commit. Website content and brand names belong to us or their respective owners; viewing the site does not grant permission to republish protected material. Links to other sites do not mean we control their content or terms.

Privacy, questions and changes

Our privacy policy explains how we handle information provided through this site. Contact us about a service or supply concern so we can investigate and work towards a resolution. These website terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.

We may update these website terms by publishing a revised version with its date. Updates do not retrospectively change an accepted quote or order; any change to those arrangements requires agreement or a lawful basis.
